Seaside Oaks Psychiatry offers now ketamine infusions for individuals suffering from severe depression in our private and comfortable office in North Naples. Our ketamine clinic is operated by a board-certified psychiatrist and highly qualified staff. 

 

Ketamine is a standard anesthetic drug that is also administered for analgesia and sedation. In addition, ketamine can rapidly and transiently alleviate treatment-resistant unipolar major depression, including suicidal ideation. Several studies have shown the effectiveness of a single administration of ketamine (usually 0.5 mg/kg over 40 min infusion) in reducing, either depressive symptoms or suicidal thoughts
